MindRising 2016 is a competition celebrating 200 years of the island of Ireland. It champions the use of digital technology in schools & groups. MindRising is about telling stories about our past and our future.

Is MindRising 2016 comórtas ceiliúradh 200 bliain d' oileán na hÉireann. Tá sé Seaimpíní úsáid na teicneolaíochta digití i scoileanna agus grúpaí. Is MindRising faoi ag insint scéalta faoi ár stair agus ár dtodhchaí .

Competition launched in February with entries being accepted until mid-March. It will run for eight weeks up to the end of April. The competition is open to children from 6 to 14 years of age across the island of Ireland and the diaspora. Children can enter the competition through schools, groups or as an individual, and are encouraged to discuss their entry with parents and older members of the community “from blockheads to greyheads”. The submission will be by way of a three-minute video of their project and presentation of a digital scrapbook.

Iomaíocht a seoladh i mí Feabhra le hiontrálacha á glacadh leis go dtí an Mheán Márta . Beidh Comórtas ar siúl ar feadh ocht seachtaine suas go dtí deireadh mhí Aibreáin. Tá an comórtas oscailte do leanaí 6-14 bliana d'aois ar fud oileán na hÉireann agus an diaspóra . Is féidir le páistí isteach ar an gcomórtas trí scoileanna , grúpaí nó mar dhuine aonair. Spreagtar leanaí chun a n-iontráil le tuismitheoirí agus baill aosta sa phobal " ó Blockheads go greyheads " phlé. Beidh an aighneacht a trí físeán 3 nóiméad ar a dtionscadal agus cur i láthair leabhar gearrthóg digiteach .
