Inspiring Ireland is a project of the Digital Repository of Ireland at the Royal Irish Academy to curate and make Ireland’s digital cultural heritage openly available in a single online portal.

Tionscadal de chuid Thaisclann Dhigiteach na hÉireann in Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann é Inspiring Ireland a choimeádann oidhreacht dhigiteach chultúrtha na hÉireann agus a chuireann ar fáil í trí aon tairseach ar líne amháin.

This exhibition uses objects and memorabilia that conveys the effect of the Rising on businesses and individuals, those who were involved in the Rising as well as others who did not fight but felt the impact nonetheless.

Accompanied by expert commentary from Professor Diarmaid Ferriter, Professor of Modern Irish History, University College Dublin; author of A Nation and not a Rabble: The Irish Revolution 1913–23, (London, 2015).

Úsáideann an taispeántas seo ábhar agus cuimhneacháin a thugann léargas ar an tionchar a bhí ag an Éirí Amach ar ghnóthaí agus ar dhaoine aonair, iad siúd a ghlac páirt san Éirí Amach, mar aon leo siúd nach raibh i mbun troda ach a ndeachaigh an Éirí Amach i gcion orthu mar sin féin.

Mar chuid den taispeántas tá saintráchtaireacht leis an Ollamh Diarmaid Ferriter, Ollamh le Nua-Stair, an Coláiste Ollscoile, Baile Átha Cliath; údar A Nation and not a Rabble: The Irish Revolution 1913–23, (Londain, 2015).
